She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert Kopatz and Irene Kopatz. She is survived by: her son Rick Peabody (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Brenden and Jason; her sisters, Susan Douglas (Kevin) and Lori Maddamma (late Elmer); and her nieces and nephews, Zach, Cailee, Mandy, Brett and Amber.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd, Steger, IL 60475). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 from 10:45 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
