He was predeceased by: his wife June Dahlman; his daughter Diane Slover (Ray Sr.); and his brothers, Jack Dahlman (late Noella), Dick Dahlman (Arlene) and Ron Dahlman (late Paula).
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Moberg (late Eric) and Karen Kozy (late Mark); his grandchildren, Raymond Slover Jr. (Elizabeth), Susan Slover, Kristen Jinks (Bryan) and Sharon Lasowski (Kevin); his great grandchildren, Marshall and Addison Slover; and his sister Carol Yates (late Larry).
Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smits-Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd, Steger, IL 60475). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd, Steger, IL 60475). An entombment was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Skyline Memorial Park (24800 S Governors Hwy, Monee, IL 60449).
