It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita Gilbert of Sterling, Illinois, who passed away on June 25, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard W. Gilbert; her son Kenneth W. Gilbert; and her siblings, Irene Prew, Marilyn Thomas, Violet Windham, Alice Middleton, Herbert Drane and Ronald Drane.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gertrude Drane (Moore) and Michelle Decker (Matthew) of Dunlap; and her sister Mary Doane of Sterling. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
