We are sad to announce that on June 1, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Betty Dettman of Sterling, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Suloff and Myrtle Suloff (Taylor); her daughter Peggy; and her sisters, Joyce Mathew and Nancy Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Kaye Strehlow (Mike) of Milledgeville, Patty Hiher of Mt. Carroll, Beth Dettman (Tom Wurster) of Stockton, Paula Zimmer (Rudy) of Hampstead, NC, Gary Dettman (Jane) of Sterling, Mark Dettman (Jennifer) of Milledgeville and William Dettman (Penny) of Ridot. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (717 Stover Ave, Milledgeville, IL 61051). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial has been established.
