She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Thome and Minnie Thome (Kunde); her husband Samuel William Beattie; her son Michael Roy Beattie; her siblings, Dorothy Whaley and Lawrence Thome; and her stepsisters, Beverly Mae Richmond and Arvilla Eaglin.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Ann Paul of Rock Falls, Julie Arvola (Dave) of Edwardsville, Peggy Peugh (Dave) of Rock Falls and Rick Alan Beattie of Sterling; her grandchildren, Lauren Beattie, Chanda Scanlan (Cecil), Kasey Paul (Cindy), Korby Hubbard (Paul), Clayton Arvola (Megan), Katie Arvola, Abby Arvola, Bree Naftzger (Matt), Phillip Peugh (Amber) and Paige Peugh; and her great grandchildren, Dalton, Caleb, Emily, Courtney, Noah, Harper, Reid, Alexandra, Ada, Olivia, Mason, Ellie, Luke, Javes, Amya and Tayson.
