With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Lavon Woodson (Sterling, Illinois), born in Black Rock, Arkansas, who passed away on March 23, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay Woodson and Irene Woodson (Ward); his wife Jewel Woodson (Cobble); and his brother James Woodson. He is survived by: his son Rickie Woodson (Adell) of King; his grandchildren, Andrea McDonald (Michael) of Pfafftown, Melissa Woodson of Paris, France, Christopher Woodson (Anne Douma) of Pfafftown, NC and David Woodson (Catherine) of Christiansburg, Virginia.; his great grandchildren, Emily, James, Elizabeth "Elsie" Woodson, Victoria, Christian McDonald, Joseph and Charlotte Woodson; and his siblings-in-law, Geraldine Weed, Earl Cobble (Carol) and Kathleen Miller (Woodson). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews and countless friends.
