He was predeceased by: his mother Arlene Broers (Woessner); his son Craig Broers; and his close friends, Kenny Jacobs and Will Bredberg. He is survived by: his father Harmie Broers; his wife Diane Broers of Sterling; his son Brian Broers Sr. (Sheryl) of Dixon; his sisters, Norma Porter of Rock Falls and Janice Behrendt of The Villages, FL; his grandsons, Brian Broers Jr. (Lindsay) of Fort Polk, LA and Hayden Broers of Dixon; and his great grandchild Brylie Broers.
In lieu of flowers memorials have been established to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
