She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirl Michel and Helen Michel (Sweigert); and her daughter Becki Luckenbill (Rick). She is survived by: her husband Bill; her sisters, Shirley Dettman (Cliff) of Hillsboro, IL and Sandy Furlong (Clair) of Rockford, IL; and her children, Teri Valentine (John) of Barrington, IL, Mindi Van Zee (Mark) of Lafayette, CO and Will Chapman of Glen Ellyn, IL. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Sterling Schools Foundation in Carol's name, for the purpose of establishing a "Carol Chapman Scholarship" to be given to a deserving future graduate pursuing Education as a future career.
