He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Blanford; his children, Rhonda Earley of Osceola, IA, Leslie Owen of France, Beth Kosman (Kevin) of Weldon, IA, Andrew Blanford (Lee) of Vietnam and Paul Filip (Brandy) of Canton, IL.; his stepchildren, Jean Schutt (Randy) of Rock Falls, Julie Hader (Mike) of Falls City, NE, Jackie McSherry (Shawn) of Lexington, TN, Jerry Rose (Sarah Johnson) of Sterling and Mark Rose of Whittier, NC.; and his niece Annie Fritz of Wyanet. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Vitas Hospice.
