It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cheryl Christianson (Sterling, Illinois), born in Rock Island, Illinois, who passed away on January 20, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stone Christianson and Margaret Johnson Christianson; and her brother Neal Christianson. She is survived by: her brother Ross Christianson (Becky) of Morton, Ill.; her nephews, Travis Christianson (Amy) of Bloomington, Brock Christianson of New York City and Adam Christianson of Morton; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Hanna of Bloomington, Grace of Bloomington and David Christianson of Bloomington; and her close friends, Anne Burch and Frances Bishop.
Memorial donations can be sent to University of Illinois Extension Master Gardeners of Whiteside County, the American Red Cross, or The Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation.
