He was predeceased by: his former wife Patricia E. Mahoney; his parents, Frank Mahoney and Beatrice Mahoney; and his siblings, Charles "Chuck" Mahoney, James Mahoney, Denise Beck and Carole Mahoney.
He is survived by: his wife Valarie; his children, Michele "Shelly" Morgan (First Sergeant Larry) and Julie Mahoney (Chuka); and his grandchildren, Kierra Preston of Austin, Texas and Joseph Korner of Edmond, Oklahoma. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
