We are sad to announce that, on July 30, 2022, at the age of 72, Dave Tamez Cantu of Sterling, Illinois, born in Harlingen, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Guadalupe Cantu and Nieves Tamez Cantu; and his brothers, Geronimo Cantu and Armando Cantu. He is survived by: his wife Marina Lopez; his children, Julio Cantu (Barb) of Pinellas Park, FL, Eric Cantu (Christi) of San Antonio, TX, Phillip Cantu of Sterling and Sarah Cantu-Thom (Travis) of Cibolo, TX; and his siblings, Mario Cantu (Connie) of St. George, UT, Lupe Cantu (Liz) of Sterling and Linda Pitts (Jim). He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
