We announce the death of Diane Kay Johnson in Sterling, Illinois, who passed away on August 7, 2026, at the age of 77. Diane will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Beaver and Dorothy Singmaster Beaver; her stepfather Frank Waltz; and her brother Jerry Beaver. She is survived by: her husband Bob; her children, Jennifer Allen (Mark) and Mike Johnson (Molly); her sister Susan Younghouse (Fred); her grandchildren, Teddy Johnson, Henry Johnson and Bobby Johnson; her nephews, Jonny Younghouse and Matt Younghouse; her niece Emily Thornton (Justin); her great-nephew Tucker Thornton; and her pets, Oliver, Lulu and Poppy.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Rose Brooks Center, Village Presbyterian Church and American Red Cross.
