He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Haag and Ida Black; his wife Roberta L. Espy; his brothers, Kenneth and Robert Haag; and his sister-in-law Peggy.
He is survived by: his children, Deb Donoho (Michael) of Dixon, Dennis Haag (Joni) of Rock Falls, Ron Haag of Sterling and John Haag (Ann) of Amboy; his grandchildren, Erin Stroud (Josh) of Columbia, SC, Beth McFalls (Brad) of Dixon, Calli Donoho (Kyle Tuskey) of Geneva, Justin Haag (Rebecca) of San Mateo, CA, Sara Williams of Sterling, Faith Garcia (Addam) of Rock Falls, Cassie Haag (JD Baker) of Rock Falls, Megan Haag of Fort Wayne, IN, Adam Haag of Manhattan, KS, Miranda Lee and David Haag (Victoria) of Dixon; his great grandchildren, Nicolas Allison, Jase Williams, Meadow Lee, Mackenzie, Micah, Mikael, Jaxen Stroud, Ryne, Elianna McFalls, Levi McNamara, Sebastien Haag, Genevieve, Gabriel Haag, Damion Garcia, Rayne Lorenzi-Haag, Sage and Willow Baker of Rock Falls; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Dunn of Indiana. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial has been established to the Honor Flight.
