She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Brown and Ruby Brown (Todd); her husband Charles Phillips; and her brother Elwood Brown. She is survived by: her children, Karroll Phillips (Sally), Jeff Phillips, Judy Powell, Kay Hook (Ed) and Jan Phillips (Rod Hammil); and her siblings, David Brown and Marilyn Tingle. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and several great and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Oak Knoll Memorial Park (18268 Pennington Rd, Sterling, IL 61081).
A memorial has been established to Rock River Hospice and Home.
