He is survived by: his wife Charlene Carl of John's Lutheran Church; his children, Devin O'Connell of Sterling, Kellen O'Connell of Sterling, Owen and Aislinn O'Connell of Sterling; his brother Bruce O'Connell (Theresa) of Rapid City, SD; his mother-in-law Janet Carl of Prophetstown; his sisters-in-law, Anita Carl of Sterling and Denise Carl of Sterling; and his niece Brynna Carl of Sterling.
