He was predeceased by: his parents, James Burress and Tiny Burress (Stump); his wife Janice Stevens; and his granddaughter Sierra Burress. He is survived by: his sons, David Burress (Melissa) of Prophetstown and Michael Buress (Tommy) of Rockford; his siblings, Melvana Aliff and Leornard Burress (Faith) of Princeton, WV; and his close friend Robin Cooper of Prophetstown.
