She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hermie and Rachel Hermie (Smith); her brothers, James and Robert Hermie; and her great grandchild Kaiden.

She is survived by: her children, Tina DeMay (Jeff) of Prophetstown and Michael Kuelper (Chris) of Rock Falls; her brother Jack Hermie (Marie) of Bettendorf, Iowa; her grandchildren, Jeremy DeMay (Stacy), Justin DeMay (Kori) and Rachelle Kuelper; and her great grandchildren, Kora, Kailynn, Khloe and Sager DeMay.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
