He was predeceased by: his mother Martha Cervantes Rizo. He is survived by: his father David Zaragoza Quiroz of Sterling; his wife Gabriela Aranda Valadez of Mexico; and his siblings, Veronica Castro (Lucio) of Sterling, Maria Guadalupe Ramirez (Ignacio) of Mexico and Rodolfo Zaragoza (Cecilia) of Sterling. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
