She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Mary Real (Bartel); her sons, Chris Ballard (Brooke) of Decatur, IL, T. J. Ballard (Krista) of Dixon, IL and Nick Ballard of Fayetteville, TN; her siblings, Joe Real (Karen) of Rock Falls, IL, Jean Livengood (Tim) of Milledgeville, IL, Mary Saathoff (Mike) of Sterling, IL and Kathy Torres of Mt. Carroll, IL; and her grandchildren, Raegan, Renee, Dean and Bria.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
