Harley Erdmann Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harley Erdmann of Sterling, Illinois, who passed away on October 29, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Harley Erdmann to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Zach T. Erdmann and LuVern M. Erdmann (Richards); his sons, Rodney and Jeffrey Erdmann; his brother Harold; his brother-in-law David Cooper; and his cousins, Eileen Reiley and Glen Richards.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce A. Springman; his daughter Shari Gaumer (Alex) of Sterling; his grandchildren, Dylan Eilers (Tori) and Sydni Eilers; his great grandchild Cooper Jude Eilers; his sisters, Amanda McNeill (Rodney) of Prophetstown and Beverly Cooper of Prophetstown; and his cousin Norene Richards. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Knoll Memorial Park (18268 Pennington Rd, Sterling, IL 61081).
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Bethesda Lutheran Church in Morrison, IL.
