He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Knapp and Melvina Knapp (Miller). He is survived by: his sons, Dennis Knapp (Diana) of Rock Falls, Douglas Knapp (Dawn) of Polo and Gary Knapp (Marie) of New Jersey. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
