He was predeceased by: his parents, Andres Garais and Bernabela Garais (Iscober). He is survived by: his wife Natividad Astillero; his children, Ana (Jerome), Marilyn, Divina (Robert), Pamela, Veneranda (George) and Reagan; his nephew Andy Sibigthrot; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Taylor, Jordan and Andrew; and his nieces and nephews, Ashley and Andrew (Vera Hoffman). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren.
