He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Robinson and Meridene Robinson (Bradley); his grandchildren, John Patrick Dylan Robinson and Erin Elizabeth Anderson; his brother Bill Robinson; and his brothers-in-law, James Dillow, Earl Juntunen and Lee Hollingsworth.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Dillow; his children, Ann Glassburn of Sterling, John Robinson (Cheryl) of Saltville, Nancy Anderson (Rod) of Sterling and Mary Mammosser (Dave) of Rock Falls; his grandchildren, Sarah Jenkins (Scott), AJ Glassburn (Sierra), Katie Anderson Goden, Carly Ann Robinson, Nolan Anderson (Martha), Daniel James Robinson and Molly Ann Mammosser; his great grandchildren, Zarek, Adriana, Rhiannon and Kyan Jenkins; his grandchildren, Braedyn Thomas, Noah, Camden, Luca Glassburn, Cooper, Benjamin, Jackson Goden and Bode Anderson; his sisters, Jean Juntunen and Linda Hollingsworth; and his sister-in-law Ruth Robinson.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for NAMI and Rock River Hospice.
