With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James A Schiltz of Sterling, Illinois, born in Kewanee, Illinois, who passed away on October 2, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Schiltz and Veronica Schiltz (Kunkel). He is survived by: his children, Lisa Winstead (Tony) of Dixon, Janet Townsend of Quincy and Karl Schiltz (Chris) of Chattanooga, TN; and his brothers, Donald Schiltz (Sharon) of Sycamore and Duane Schiltz (Bonnie) of Kewanee. He is also survived by two granddaughters, two step grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; two great-great grandsons; and one great-great granddaughter.
