We are sad to announce that, on December 18, 2023, at the age of 76, James L. Hemminger Sr. of Sterling, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Hemminger and Ellen Hemminger (Thompson); his brother Robert Hemminger; and his son-in-law Mark Duchay. He is survived by: his children, Kathy Meiborg (Ryan) of Sterling, Laura Duchay of Rock Falls and James Hemminger Jr. of Sterling; his siblings, Betty Waldron (Dennis) of Sterling, Mary Dickhut (Barry) of Sterling, Sharon Cheshier of Kirkland, IL, Larry Hemminger (Marilyn) of Rock Falls, Wallace Hemminger (Sharon) of Oxnard, CA and David Hemminger (Fran) of Sterling; and his grandchildren, Tyler Duchay, Daylen Meiborg, Brody Meiborg, Daxton Meiborg, Nevin Meiborg, Kyleigh Meiborg, Walker Meiborg and Kamren Olroyd. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
