It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janis L. Crossland of Sterling, Illinois, who passed away on January 7, 2026, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy Stoudt and Bertha Stoudt (Ohda); and her siblings, Martin Stoudt, Gary Stoudt, Randy Stoudt and Nancy Gibson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jenna Bean (Eric) of Dixon and Kayla Phillips (Scott) of Loves Park; her siblings, Pat Apgar of Morrison, Rick Stoudt (Susan) of Rock Falls and Teresa Sodergren of Dixon; her grandchildren, Justin Charleston, Cameron Charleston, Hailie Craft, Valona Hendricks, Jacob Hendricks and Annabelle Hendricks; and her great grandchildren, Kiandre and Averyl.
