We announce the death of Jay A. Woodin (Sterling, Illinois), who passed away on July 5, 2026, at the age of 72. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Woodin; his children, Brett Woodin (Jean), Brooke Woodinmiller (Kurt) and Britt Woodin (Josh Moore); his grandchildren, Eva Jae, Wade James, Quinn Lea, Aliese Marie Woodinmiller, Genevieve Sweeney and Piper Moore; his siblings, Ty Woodin (Janel) and Deb Morgan (Bob); and his in-laws, Allan, Keith and Kent Engelkens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Milledgeville Fire Protection District.
