It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan K. Pyse of Sterling, Illinois, who passed away on October 18, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Pyse and Mildred Pyse (Wagenknecht); her daughter Christy Westfall; her son-in-law Tim Westfall; her siblings, Dean "Ted" Pyse, Dennis Pyse, Joyce Ernst, Charlotte Doan, Judy Estes, Peggy Karash and Sue Chappell; and her brothers-in-law, Alan Ernst and Steve Chappell.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Gail Estes of Amboy, Tom Estes and Troy Estes (Janet) of Bradford; her siblings, Jeanie Mattingly (Carl) of Loretto, KY, David Pyse of Kings Mountain, SC, Debbie Aronson (Randy) of Harmon and Wendy Stralow (Craig) of Morrison; and her siblings-in-law, Larry Karash of Morrison and Donna Pyse of Dixon. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
