She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Zinanni and Dorothy Zinanni (Beckman); her brother Robert Zinanni; and her stepdaughter Laurie Riggs Garcia. She is survived by: her husband Ramiro Garcia; her children, Julie Allen (Rick) of Sugar Grove, Kenneth Fritz (Karen) of Winona, MN and Dave Fritz of Columbus, OH; her stepchildren, Tina Danciu (Mark) of Liberty, TX and Greg Garcia (Pam) of Sterling; her siblings, Sharon McKenna (Jim) of Sterling and Dean Zinanni (Janice) of Sterling; and her grandchildren, Chad Brieant, Brett Allen, Colin Fritz, Tanya Maerz (Andy) and Derek Horvath (Mandy). She is also survived by 11 step grandchildren and 19 step great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (600 Avenue B, Sterling, IL 61081). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Newman Central Catholic High School Library and may be sent in the care of McDonald Funeral Home, 1002 12th Avenue Rock Falls, IL 61071.
