He is survived by: his children, Judy Hoffmiller of Sauk City, WI and Michael Hoffmiller of Madison, WI; his grandchildren, Michael Hoefler of Merrill, WI and Maya Hoffmiller-Maynard of Mesa, AZ; his sisters, Mary End, Peg Hoffmiller of Sterling, IL and Anne Mayberry; his nieces and nephews, Carol Archer of New York, NY, Ellen Archer of Maplewood, NJ, Kate Hoffmiller of Sterling, IL, Matt Brown of Pacifica, CA, Lisa Petersen of St. Charles, IL, Amanda Zook of Dixon, IL and Kelly Renner of Geneva, IL; and his caregiver Pat Zigler of Rock Falls, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Andrew Parish and Grade School, Newman High School, the Rock Falls Fire Fighters Foundation and to Rock Falls Optimist Club to be earmarked for the Scholarship Fund in John's memory.
