She was predeceased by: her parents, Hiram Ferris and Crete Ferris (Calligan); and her daughter-in-law Geri Lancaster. She is survived by: her husband Chuck Lancaster; her children, Jeff Lancaster, Julie Kendall (Corey) and Jerry Lancaster (Ellie); her grandchildren, Nick Nelson, Allen Nelson (Keisha), Joe Rogers (Jacki), Cru Scribner and Jacey Suiter (Ben); her great grandchildren, Landen Rogers, Layton Rogers, Wrenley Suiter, Brooks Suiter, Briar Nelson and Braylen Nelson; her sister Betty Meyers (Terry); her niece Jody Sayre (Tom); and her nephew Joel Meyers (Laurie). She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established to the Milledgeville Town Beautification Community Garden.
