We are sad to announce that, on February 2, 2026, at the age of 91, Kap C. Kim MD of Sterling, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Kap's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Kap's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parent Young Seung Lee; his spouse Youn Hae Lee; his siblings, Woo Choong Kim, Chul Choong Kim, Kyung Ja Kim, Kyung Sook Kim, Kyung Hi Kim and Kyung Wha Kim; and his daughter Alice Kim.
He is survived by: his children, David and Susan of Sterling. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the CGH Health Foundation.
