He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Deets and Alice Deets (Love); and his stepbrother Mark Myers. He is survived by : his stepmother Judy Deets of Rock Falls; his daughter Hannah Bergum; his siblings, Curtis Deets (Mary) of Sterling, Eric Deets (Ashley) of Sarasota, FL, Sherri Deets Bock of Jacksonville, FL and Connie Deets of Sterling; his stepsiblings, Byron Myers (Samuella) of Rock Falls, Allen Myers of Oregon, IL and Myrna Siegrist (Gary) of Belvidere; his sister-in-law Kristi Myers; and his caregiver Arthur. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
