She was predeceased by: her father Lawrence Champion; and her sister Karen Rude (Thomas). She is survived by: her mother Donna Champion; and her brothers, Lamont Champion (Tammy) of Huntington, WV and Kevin Champion (Jeanette) of Des Moines, IA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends.
