With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leona VanZuiden of Sterling, Illinois, born in Morrison, Illinois, who passed away on May 9, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard J. Workman and Myrtle Katherine Workman (Zuidema); her husband Alvin Van Zuiden; her granddaughter Rachel Van Zuiden; and her siblings, Dorothy Wagner, Arthur, Kenneth and Lowell Workman.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Woessner (Neal) of Oswego, David Van Zuiden (Brenda) of Texas, Kevin Van Zuiden (Judi) of Wisconsin, Russell Van Zuiden (Leanne) of Rock Falls and Marla Bland (Randy) of Winnebago. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
