He is survived by: his children, Kelsey Stringer (Chad) of Rock Falls, Peter Staranko (Sarah) of Sterling and John Staranko of Sterling; his grandchildren, Eleuria (Brendan), Rosella, Addison, Eve, Moses, Dylan, Lilian, Ophilea, Samuel, Adelena, Uriah, Viviana and Zinaida; and his siblings, Alberta O'Brien (William), Eleanor Custozzo and Robert Staranko. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
