It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louella Engelkens of Sterling, Illinois, born in Morrison, Illinois, who passed away on September 15, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Engelkens and Abbie Engelkens (Peoples); her siblings, Carrie Cartwright, Alfretta Meurs, Mary Lou Huggins, Elsie Pfister, Marjorie Ennenback, Beverly Seavey, Jake Jr., Merle and Okko Engelkens; and her nephew Al Engelkens.
She is survived by: her daughter Lynn Engelkens; and her brothers, Paul Engelkens (Cindy) of Morrison, Jim Engelkens (Gayle) of Rock Falls and Wayne Engelkens of Chadwick. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials have been established.
