He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sibley and Lucile Sibley (Wolf); his stepson John Sauer; and his siblings, Audrey Roman and Truman Sibley.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Sauer; his stepson Jared Sauer (Sue) of Lanark; his stepgrandchildren, Daniel, Ryan, Drew Sauer and Emily Hammer; his stepgreat-grandsons, Asher and Benny Hammer; and his sisters, Arvilla Springman, Alice Young, Camella Alexander, Sheila Price and Gloria. He is also survived by Grams.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (717 Stover Ave, Milledgeville, IL 61051). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given in his memory to Trinity Lutheran Church.
