She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hugo Johannes and Mabel Kathryn Marie Gerken (Dietz); her siblings, Ronald Gerken (Karol) of Sterling, Betty Clementz (Tom) and Cheryl Faber (Ron); her brother-in-law Dale Smith of Sterling; and her sister Donna Smith. She was also cherished by nephew.
