It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria De La Luz Pena of Sterling, Illinois, who passed away on February 4, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Reynaldo Trevino and Silvestra Trevino (Gomez); and her husband Atanacio Pena. She is survived by : her children, Diana Pena, Delia Rivera, Minerva Ferrel, Esmeralda Roman (Jesus), Norma Medina (Mario), Loraen Romo (Pedro) and Reynaldo Pena.
