She was predeceased by: her parents, Aron Cardenas and Fidencia Cardenas (Saldana); her husband Benjamin Marquez; her sons, Benjamin and Marco Artemio; her brother Ruben Cardenas; her aunt Ninita; her son-in-law Juan Pinedo; and her grandson Juanito.
She is survived by: her children, Veronica Hippen (Jack) of Dixon, Maria Elena Pinedo, Luis Marquez, Daniel Marquez (Mirella) of Chicago and David Marquez (Elena) of Dixon; and her sister Josefina Espinoza. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
