We bid farewell to Marilyn D. Prew of Sterling, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 16, 2025 at the age of 96. Marilyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid adieu to Marilyn's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Marilyn has bequeathed us. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Jones and Ruby Jones (Uhr); her former spouse Kervin Mosher; her husband Leonard Prew; and her siblings, Betty Lenning, Beverly Fisher, Donald, Robert and Jerry Jones.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Loos (Edward) of Sterling and Becky Buss (Kevin) of Sterling; and her brother David Jones of Iowa. She is also survived by five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
