He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Knutti and Lola Knutti (Miller); his stepfather Babe Baumgardt; his brothers, Laverne and Marvin Knutti; and his son Drew Knutti.

He is survived by: his wife Debra Knutti; his children, Kara Knutti of Sterling, Stacey Dravis (Nathen Todd) of Sterling, Alison Dugger (Daryl Pernell) of Rock Falls and Caleb Knutti (Sydney Hills) of Sterling; his brothers, Roger Knutti (Connie) of Lanark, Larry Knutti (Char) of Pecatonica, Steve Knutti (April) of Chadwick and Dave Knutti (Kalah) of Chadwick; and his grandchildren, Elly Dravis, Mackenzie Dravis, Madilyn Dravis, Maverick Todd, Jack Dugger and Connor Pernell.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, Sterling.
