She was predeceased by: her parents, Nikolaus P. Steilen and Helen Steilen (Appleby); and her husband George Edwards. She is survived by: her daughters, Janice Christina "Tina" Oschman (Kurt), Cathryn Williams (Phillip), Karen Bodie (Jonathan) and Diane Sutkay (Dale); her grandchildren, Lauren Oschman (Pierre-Antoine Levillain), Nicholas Oschman (Katie Kibler), Samuel Williams, Henry Williams, John "Jack" Williams, Nichole Williams, Brianna Bodie, Blake Bodie, Evan Miller, Ellie Miller, Ethan Miller, Chanda Nagle (John), Dylan Sutkay, Drew Sutkay (Paige) and Summer Sutkay (Ben); her great grandchildren, Rhett, Gavin, Gwendolyn and Beckham; her brother Charles Steilen; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Gillis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church in Sterling and the United Way "Feed the Children" program, 502 1st Avenue, Sterling.
