With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred Kelly (Sterling, Illinois), born in Rock Falls, Illinois, who passed away on May 8, 2023 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. Kraus and Elsie M. Kraus (Lauff); her spouse Francis "Bud" Kelly; her daughter Mary Catherine; her siblings, Donald, John, Edward Kraus, Frances Kinney and Louise Boehle; and her son-in-law Chris Whitehead.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Kelly (Mary Lynn), Mike Kelly (Jeannie), Terry Kelly (Nancy), Dan Kelly (Gail), Kelly Matthews, Barb Stutzke (Phil), Pat Whitehead and Sharon Lenhart. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
