She was predeceased by : her parents, Edmund Hans Sievers and Lorraine Shanks Sievers; and her husband Donald Kent Slaney. She is survived by : her children, Malcolm Slaney (Sara Anderson) of Palo Alto, California, Jeffrey Slaney (Cheryl Cook Slaney) of Sunnyvale and Jennifer Slaney of Sterling, Illinois.; her grandchildren, Ross, Jay, Erin, Kent and Kaija; and her granddaughter-in-law Danielle.
