He is survived by: his sons, Mark Oelrichs (Sally) of Sterling and John Oelrichs of Sterling; and his grandchildren, Jakob Oelrichs, Adam Oelrichs, John Oelrichs, Tristan Oelrichs and David Oelrichs.
A memorial has been established to the Alzheimer's Association.
