It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Reggie J. Marruffo of Sterling, Illinois, who passed away on May 26, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benito Marruffo and Jovie Marruffo (DeLeon); and his siblings, Patricia Ann Marruffo and Timothy Ernest Marruffo. He is survived by: his wife Debra Marruffo of Sterling; his stepchildren, Emma Lea Bittner (Zak) of Maricopa, AZ and Art Van Zuiden (Madison) of Morrison; and his brothers, Benito Marruffo (Sherry) of Rock Falls, Mike Marruffo (Sue) of Sterling, Robert Marruffo (Kathy) of Sterling, Roderick Marruffo of Sterling and Fred Marruffo (Becky) of Sterling. He is also survived by three step granddaughters.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McDonald Funeral Home (505 1st Ave, Sterling, IL 61081). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
