With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Helms (Sterling, Illinois), born in Morrison, Illinois, who passed away on November 2, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Jensen and Mary Snyder Jensen; and her brother Edwin Lee Jensen. She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Helms; her children, Ryan Helms (Emily) of Madison, WI and Lezley Mount (Austin) of Joy, IL; her brothers, Lyle of Sterling and Lauren Jensen of Sterling; her grandchildren, Alec, Lane, Luke, Anna, Lily, Arlo and Aura Mount; and her brothers, Oliver and Maxwell Helms.
A memorial has been established to the American Heart Association.
